چکیده

Peanuts can be affected by the presence of pathogenic microorganisms. The fungus Thecaphora frezii (T. frezii), which belongs to taxonomic class Ustilaginomycetes, is causal agent disease known as “peanut smut”. life cycle this includes three stages, namely teliospores, basidiospores and hyphae. In hyphae stage, infection occurs in peanut plant, requires involvement some enzymes secreted fungus. These include Plant Cell Wall-Degrading Enzymes (PCWDEs), degrade various polysaccharides. This study aimed identify transcript for belonging PCWDEs from stages T. frezii. For this, total RNA was extracted ontogenetic samples were analyzed using an RNA-Seq approach transcripts quantified Real Time PCR. analysis data provided it possible that could encode compatible with polysaccharides degradation are part plant cell wall. transcriptome, 40 deduced proteins would functions identified. They divided into 27 glycoside hydrolases; two polysaccharide lyases; carbohydrate esterases eight auxiliary activities. addition, fungal SNF1 gene identified whose activity high glucose level, indirectly influence levels PCWDEs. help understand process possibly find substances control its development.

Arsenal of plant cell wall degrading enzymes reflects host preference among plant pathogenic fungi

BACKGROUND The discovery and development of novel plant cell wall degrading enzymes is a key step towards more efficient depolymerization of polysaccharides to fermentable sugars for the production of liquid transportation biofuels and other bioproducts. The industrial fungus Trichoderma reesei is known to be highly cellulolytic and is a major industrial microbial source for commercial cellulas...

a comparative study of the theme of "marriage" in three victorian novelists: charles dickens, george eliot and thomas hardy

Heterologous Expression of Plant Cell Wall Degrading Enzymes for Effective Production of Cellulosic Biofuels

A major technical challenge in the cost-effective production of cellulosic biofuel is the need to lower the cost of plant cell wall degrading enzymes (PCDE), which is required for the production of sugars from biomass. Several competitive, low-cost technologies have been developed to produce PCDE in different host organisms such as Escherichia coli, Zymomonas mobilis, and plant. Selection of an...

Coevolution and Life Cycle Specialization of Plant Cell Wall Degrading Enzymes in a Hemibiotrophic Pathogen

Zymoseptoria tritici is an important fungal pathogen on wheat that originated in the Fertile Crescent. Its closely related sister species Z. pseudotritici and Z. ardabiliae infect wild grasses in the same region. This recently emerged host-pathogen system provides a rare opportunity to investigate the evolutionary processes shaping the genome of an emerging pathogen. Here, we investigate geneti...

Production of Cell Wall-Degrading Enzymes by the Phytopathogenic Fungus Sclerotinia sclerotiorum.

The range of polysaccharide-degrading enzymes and glycosidases formed by the phytopathogenic fungus Sclerotinia sclerotiorum was monitored following growth on 16 carbohydrate substrates. Endo- and exoenzymes capable of degrading cellulosic, hemicellulosic, and pectinolytic polysaccharides were secreted. Pectinolytic activities were produced constitutively on all of the substrates tested. Cellul...
